Join us for a relaxed Movie Night with the International Student Society as we get together to enjoy a big-screen comedy and unwind mid-semester. Whether you’re coming with friends or on your own, this is the perfect chance to switch off, have a laugh, and meet other international students.

For this movie night, we’ll be watching Anaconda — a comedy adventure that’s so over the top it’s guaranteed to keep everyone entertained 🐍😂

The screening will take place on Thursday evening in Room 903, starting at 6:00 PM.
This is a FREE event, but tickets are required so we can manage capacity and seating.

Get ready for one of the most competitive and adrenaline-filled events of the semester!
Join the International Student Society for an epic Go Kart race night, where speed, strategy, and nerves of steel will decide the winners.

This is a full race experience, lasting approximately 2.5 hours, including:

• Multiple 10-lap heats

• Semi-finals

• A Grand Final to crown the champions 🏁

🏆 Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

The event will take place on Thursday, 26th March at 6:00 PM, at Galway Karting.
Tickets are €35, and numbers are strictly limited due to track capacity.

Students must apply directly at the Spanish Embassy. 🔹Refund Policy: If your visa is rejected, we will refund your ticket price minus the flight tickets if was flight ticket was bought already due to price increase.

For the last trip in May 2025 we arranged a visa appointment for all visa-required students and the visa approval rate was 100%

Important: This trip is exclusively for international students at ATU Galway-Mayo. However, local students with an international background or strong connections to the international student community and active members of the International Student Society are also welcome to join. Please talk to us.

You must be an active member (joined events) of the society for at least 60 days before purchasing your ticket.

📊 Attendance Requirement – Please Read Carefully

To join the ISS Trip to Spain, all students must meet a minimum attendance of 50% in free ISS events and activities throughout the second semester (January to April).

✅ This applies regardless of when you purchased your ticket – the attendance count starts from the beginning of the semester, not from the date of booking.

⚠️ If you fail to meet this attendance requirement, your ticket will be cancelled and no refund will be issued, as clearly stated in our trip policy.

This policy ensures fairness and supports our goal of building a strong, engaged community. We encourage all students to actively participate in ISS events to make the most of their experience and remain eligible for our trips.
